Is this replacing DJs?
No. For DJs, SONUX is a co-pilot: it drafts, you decide. For venues, it covers the nights that never had a DJ in the first place — the Tuesdays, the dinner shifts. Peak nights still belong to humans.
What music does it play?
Yours. SONUX mixes the library you already own — imported from rekordbox, Serato, or your folders. It doesn't stream, generate, or substitute tracks.
What about music licensing for venues?
Venues keep their existing public-performance licenses, exactly as with any playback system. SONUX plays your music under your licenses — it adds no licensing burden and is not a music streaming service.
How is this different from auto-mix in other software?
Conventional auto-mix crossfades on a timer. SONUX reads each track's structure — phrases, drops, outros — and plans every blend on the bar grid with EQ and tempo decisions, then tells you why. It's the difference between a fade and a mix.
When can I use it?
